The best part about having our wedding in Arizona is having plenty to do all around you! Cody and I have put together a few different recommendations for you in case you need some inspiration. Enjoy!
Hiking
Camelback Mountain - Cholla Trail or Echo Canyon Trail - both are difficult but worth it!
Pinnacle Peak - an easy / moderate trail perfect for an evening stroll.
Piestawa Peak - a difficult trail with beautiful views of downtown Phoenix.
Tom's Thumb - a moderate trail in the middle of a mountain preserve with plenty of other trails around it.
Golf
TPC - Home of the Waste Management Open. They have two courses you can play, The Stadium Course or the Champions course.
Mountain Shadows - A neat 18 hole par three golf course on Camelback Mountain. It has the cutest holes and amazing views!
Camelback Golf Course - Right off Camelback mountain with beautiful layout and impressive views.
McCormick Ranch - Right off Scottsdale Ave. Beautiful club house and best value course.
Other Ideas
Paddle the Salt River - Check out one of the many outfitters online who rent out kayaks or stand up paddle boards!
Desert Botanical Gardens
Kierland Commons - Our favorite shopping destination! Lots of fun tasty restaurants can be found there as well.
Fashion Square - More shopping!
Old Town Scottsdale - If you are looking to go out in Scottsdale, this is your place. Don't feel like walking from bar to bar? Don't worry, you can flag down a golf cart to take you to the next watering hole!
Top Golf
Downtown Tempe - ASU's campus sits right in downtown Tempe. You'll find fun college bars, neat restaurants and boutique shops if you wander around a bit.
